Privacy Policy

Aurora Camp (“we”, “the app”) is a travel and camping organizer for planning expeditions, gear, checklists, places, notes, photos, and journals on your device.

Data we store

Expedition content you create — trips, routes, gear items, pack lists, places, checklist progress, journal text, and photos you attach — is stored locally on your device. Preferences such as units and reminder timing are stored locally as well.

Data we do not collect

We do not require an account. We do not operate a backend that receives your expedition content. We do not sell personal information. The app does not include third-party analytics SDKs for tracking you across other companies’ apps.

Photos & notifications

If you grant photo library or camera access, images are used only to attach to your local journal or places. If you schedule a prep reminder, the system notification framework delivers that reminder on your device.

Children

Aurora Camp is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit children’s personal information through the app.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
